Senior Designer - Water Resources/Public Works

Halff is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Designer in our Jacksonville, Florida office with a minimum of 10 years experience. Project experience must include preparation of construction drawings for private and or public civil engineering project including elements such as site plans, grading and drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, utilities accommodation, and utility design. The position will require the successful applicant to assist with cross practice workload sharing to develop construction plans from vision to reality.

Requirements:

High School equivalency required
10-15 years experience in Civil Design
Proficient in latest AutoCAD Civil 3D
Stormwater modeling and GIS mapping is beneficial
Storm Sewer and Sanitary Sewer design experience required
Strong knowledge and understanding of local, regional and state permitting requirements are essential
Exceptional attention to detail
Project Management skills
Excellent communication skills written and oral
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
