Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Business Operations Workforce Development Specialist to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The Business Operations Workforce Development Specialist supports the development and implementation of BOD organizational strategies for organizational task allocation, key process definition, and workforce development.
- Prepare technical guidelines and standard operating procedures to promote improved knowledge management and internal organizational efficiency, as well as support the OA/BOD Certification Manager and/or Acquisition Workforce Support Coordinator for all financial management-related career field training and certification activities.
- Support the development and implementation of acquisition workforce program management best practices, lifecycle process assets (policies, processes, procedures, standards), and the development of knowledge management tools.
- Support the training, development, certification preparation, and continuous learning activities of the business operations acquisition workforce.
- Support the implementation of policy, doctrine, and strategic human capital resources to facilitate Component Acquisition Executive (CAE) acquisition workforce priorities.
- Support the development and sustainment of the CBP Cost and CBP Schedule Community of Practices and provide policy implementation to integrate CBP workforce practices with DHS policy and Federal Acquisition Institute doctrine.
- Support development and tracking of acquisition workforce performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Masters Degree
- Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of federal acquisition practices and acquisition management standard requirements, including those of DHS Acquisition Directive (AD) 102-01.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project and/or SharePoint Dashboard development/management skills for presentation of metrics status.
- 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in human resources or Industrial / organizational psychology.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
