Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director of International Admission provides comprehensive support to all phases of recruitment and enrollment of prospective students wishing to enter a program at the La Verne Campus. Position has primary responsibility for recruiting prospective international students through strategic enrollment efforts, direct counseling, communication and enrollment process support, and external/related/affinity group outreach.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of two years in Admissions and Recruitment.
At least two years in International Admissions.
Must be able to work within required deadlines, travel to recruitment events, and work afterhours/ weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM.
Bilingual Spanish.

Specific Duties
Utilizing the CRM system, work closely with prospective students and applicants through the admissions process via telephone, email, and personal contact throughout the course of the admission cycle:
Conduct on-site information sessions at educational institutions, community colleges, community-based organizations, businesses and other appropriate sites.
Build and maintain partner relationships with community colleges international offices, private local high schools, stakeholders and community-based organizations, businesses, and other appropriate sites.
Represent the University at events on and off campus, conferences, fairs, networking mixers, and other appropriate events to generate leads resulting in applications and enrolled students.
Participate in and lead information sessions, during the work day, evenings and weekends as designated by Enrollment Management.
Establish relationships with prospective students and stakeholders by providing accurate admission, program and campus information.
Plan and participate in admitted student events and other yield opportunities during the day, in the evening, and on weekends where appropriate.
Counsel students on appropriate steps between admission and enrollment. Must have a good understanding of degree curriculum, learning outcomes and expectations, including basic knowledge of financial aid, and other onboarding processes.

Coordinate, manage, and lead agent partner relationships. Train international partners and recruiters to help recruit high-quality students internationally. Develop a strategy for recruiting international students in existing markets as well as new and emerging markets.

Oversee a subsection of responsibilities related to recruitment and enrollment including but not limited to supervising student ambassadors, coordinating with other onboarding units such as financial aid or student accounts, or spearheading recruitment or yield events.
