Acquisition Analyst
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to support pre- and post-award Department of Defense (DoD) contracts? Do you know both sides of the acquisition and contract lifecycle? As an Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison for our client.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. As an Acquisition Analyst, you’ll help determine documentation requirements for milestone and decision events, contributing to strategic planning with key clients and more. You’ll work on acquisition pathway analyses and be responsible for contributing to key strategy decisions. You’ll grow your acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From working with your team to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, to obtaining concurrence, you’ll help deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience researching, interpreting, and applying Defense Acquisition System or Adaptive Acquisition Framework 5000 series policies, principles, techniques, methods, and practices
- Experience providing recommendations for acquisition program teams on acquisition pathways, including documentation tailoring and baselining
- Experience planning, tracking, and meeting due dates for multiple tasks across multiple programs
- Experience collaborating successfully with individuals at all levels to accomplish tasks within stated deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining performance and quality of work products
- Ability to effectively and concisely communicate using a variety of styles appropriate to target audience
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience producing Integrated Master Schedules within Microsoft Project
- Experience providing independent assessments for programs approaching decision milestones
- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Certification at the Program Management Level I or higher

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
