About the Role
The HVAC Mechanic shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience. This position requires travel to multiple sites throughout Northern Virginia. A company truck and gas card are included. The shift is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with overtime as required.
Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems and subsystems
Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
Operate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and associated building controls
Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
Perform other related duties as assigned
You Should Have
High School degree or equivalent
Journeyman HVAC preferred
5 years experience working on commercial HVAC systems
Completed coursework in HVAC areas
Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing system
Universal CFC Certification
Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
Must be able to pass background check to obtain government site badge
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
Valid driver's license
