Position Summary:
The Vice President Finance for Medical Centers at UCI Health provides leadership in the financial management of UCI Health's hospital facilities. This executive role is pivotal in integrating these facilities into the broader financial framework of UCI Health, ensuring seamless financial operations and alignment with the organization's strategic goals. The VP of Finance will collaborate extensively with the Controller/VP of Financial Accounting & Reporting and other finance leaders to achieve effective financial integration and operational excellence.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $230,500.00 Midpoint $357,900.00 Maximum $485,300.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to successfully represent the UC Irvine Enterprise to the external community
Evidence of sound critical thinking skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically
Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to influence others internal and external to the organization
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Ability to develop and implement programs and improve organizational
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Strong planning, financial and analytical skills to provide effective leadership for assigned areas
Demonstrated ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
Ability to successfully cross departmental lines of management to organize, guide and direct the development, delivery and marketing of assigned programs and services
Minimum 10 years’ experience of progressive management responsibility
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role (Director or higher) in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Masters in Healthcare Management or related field
Leadership experience in an academic medical center environment
Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
