Boeing Defense Space and Security, The Chinook program is seeking an Entry, Associate or Mid-level Structural Analysis Engineer to support the Chinook cargo helicopter. Boeing supports the Chinook with a wide range of support programs that are uniquely tailored to the requirements of each customer. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, with good verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to balance the needs of the customer, both internal and external, with the time required to perform structural analysis and report writing. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA.
Position Responsibilities:

Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies ensuring requirements are satisfied.
Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Ridley Park facility).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): (see education and experience for the levels below)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (level 2)
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (level 3)
