The Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park Associate Dean of Research and Basic Sciences plays a crucial role in advancing the research mission of the institution and fostering excellence in basic science disciplines. This position requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can collaborate effectively with faculty, students, and external partners to enhance research productivity, promote student engagement, and secure funding for research. The position is also responsible for the strategic leadership of basic sciences coursework and faculty. The Associate Dean of Research and Basic Sciences works in conjunction with the Dean to ensure that the colleges vision, strategic direction, and priorities are implemented effectively.
Required Qualifications
*DVM or equivalent degree; *three (3) years prior experience in a high-level administrative role in a veterinary medical college; *five (5) years of experience in a veterinary medical academic environment with an understanding of the academic environment and curriculum development *demonstrated research experience
