About the Role:
As a member of the Global Claims Quality Assurance and Controls team within Everest Insurance, the purpose of this role is to provide functional support of, coordination, design and monitoring of programs and processes that support QA. Position focus is on QA, but may expand to other areas within Claims Technical Services. This individual will report to the Vice President – Global Claims QA & Controls. This position can be based in our office in Warren, NJ on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote). Remote consideration will be given to candidates outside of commuting distance to an Everest office.

Liaison with Operations and Data teams for data, process, and IT development. Perform data discovery and analysis

Undertake the analysis for business problems and translate them into requirements to ensure solution meets business requirements.
Perform gap and impact analysis between current and desired state
Effectively translate business problem into business requirements
Provide solution alternatives and recommendations.
Contribute to project definition, cost estimates/tracking
Manage the transition of business requirements into implementation (IT and otherwise)
Coordinate solution design with IT and Operations teams and be accountable for the technical design
Plan projects from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines, and milestones.

MI and KPI development/delivery for reporting program effectiveness, efficiency, and performance

Qualifications
3+ years of insurance claims experience in a business analysis or claims management
Project management or data analysis experience in the insurance field
Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve business issues
Strategic thinker, innovative and solution-oriented
Ability to adapt and embrace change, solutions driven, and ability to handle unexpected events
Ability to work independently on assignments of moderate to high complexity
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates respect for the opinions of others
Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel. Ability to work with formulas, prepare data for analysis using PivotTables and Pivot Charts, make use of WhatIf analysis and validation rules to control data.
Flexibility to work within global time zones, meetings while working remotely, including some travel (10%).
