We are hiring an Operations Manager for the Barstool Sports wholesale channel located in New York, NY. The Operations Manager is a supporting role to the wholesale sales team. They will support the day-to-day operations needs of our large and growing wholesale portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is familiar with the wholesale landscape, and has worked in fast-paced environments. They will also support the coordination of shipments between suppliers domestically and overseas with our 3PL partners. They liaise with other members of the Commerce and wholesale team on a day-to-day basis.
What You'll Do
The Wholesale Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining Barstool’s wholesale operations on a day-to-day basis, including order management, fulfillment, production scheduling, and inventory management.
Act as an operational owner of the Barstool wholesale business.
Ensure customer orders are delivered within the defined SLA and CXL dates.
Gather and process routing guide information for wholesale customers, and communicate instructions to 3PL to ensure retail compliance.
Communicate necessary information back to the wholesale sales team on shipping lead times and inventory availability.
Liaise with manufacturers to ensure products for seasonal launches is on schedule to ensure target delivery dates are met.
Communicate launch risks to tentpole events to wholesale stakeholders to ensure wholesale partners are aware of any potential shifts to launch schedules.
Track inventory, blank inventory, sales, and upcoming promotional events to identify out-of-stock risks and ensure product re-orders are placed in a timely manner.
Ensure products and systems are set up operationally for success.
Manage product creation and merchandising of wholesale store PDPs, including product information maintenance and takedowns.
Identify areas of operational improvement and cost savings.
Coordinate with 3PL to identify and clean up backorder reports daily.
Proactively streamline and improve processes as necessary to maintain operational efficiencies. Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the team.
What You Have
3-5 years of working in an operational role liaising with third-party logistics companies and/or warehouses.
Understanding and experience in managing wholesale routing guides and working with retailers (both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar) to deliver products for their distribution.
Experience with routing palletized goods via domestic truck (FTL/LTL). International routing experience is nice to have but not required.
Experience working with wholesale software (preferably Elastic, NuOrder, Joor etc)
Experience working in NetSuite and proficient in report pulling and creation.
Experience working with SPS or EDI System Equivalent (preferably SPS Commerce, DSCO/Rithum).
Ability to quickly analyze & summarize data and draw conclusions/recommendations.
This role requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH).
Experience working within Celigo or other middleware environments such as Workato, Zapier, or SAP.
Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions with the ability to multi-task.
Great critical thinking skills to handle issues before they even arise.
Excellent communication skills - you must be able to clearly articulate your needs or questions.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000
