Overview: As an Enrollment & Intake Therapist, you will introduce individuals to our life-changing services, guiding them through the enrollment process, and setting treatment goals. You will build a foundational relationship with participants and maintain engagement during their transition to post-release programming.
Responsibilities:
Enrolling, Diagnosing, and Supporting Participants:
Interview potential participants prior to release from prison.
Assess eligibility and obtain consent for participation.
Serve as the primary contact for incarcerated individuals.
Administer assessments and diagnose participants.
Create treatment plans aligned with participants' goals.
Welcome newly released participants to post-release programming and conduct outreach to those not yet arrived.
Communication with Multi-Disciplinary Care Team and External Stakeholders:
Maintain and update records in the electronic record system.
Build strong relationships with prison staff and administration.
Serve as a liaison between participants and the post-release care team.
Participate in internal meetings and training sessions.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

Flexibility to work within correctional facilities.
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in documenting interactions and flagging participant needs.
Experience using DSM-5 and assessments to form diagnoses and set treatment goals.
Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
Required Education, Licensure, and Experience:
Masters degree in counseling, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
Independent clinical license.
3-5 years of experience in mental health and substance use disorders.
Familiarity with and endorsement of the 12-step program.
Ability to pass DOC security clearance.
Drivers license.
CPR / Adult First Aid certification preferred.
