The Job:
As a Talent Acquisition Manager for Early Career Talent, you will support the Talent Acquisition team to identify top early career talent and lead University partnerships as a hybrid employee. You will collaborate with leadership, hiring manager, and HR colleagues and will execute against the recruitment strategy to attract and assess ideal talent for our organization. We are looking for someone that will seek to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience and will be a trusted partner to our stakeholders. You’ll get to:
- Own existing and build new relationships with institutions, students, career services, academic personnel, and student organizations.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, networking events, workshops, and other university-related activities to showcase our organization as an employer of choice.
- Manage internal campus ambassadors with campus event needs; scheduling, curating presentations, shipping materials, and other needs which may arise.
- Screen candidates as first point of contact for external applicants and coordinate subsequent interviews.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and hiring metrics through external and internal recruiting platforms and manage the new hire processes in these systems.
- Develop and share monthly recap of Early Career recruiting initiatives.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' skills and qualifications to present a shortlist of top candidates to hiring managers.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, offering insights into company culture, benefits, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve and streamline university talent acquisition processes, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging university recruitment strategies to continually enhance our approach.
The Person:
You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? In fact, you embrace it. You also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field.
- 2+ years of highly productive recruiting related experience specifically in Early Career/University Relations.
- Demonstrated interviewing and candidate assessment skills with a passion for talent acquisition.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to create and promote an inclusive environment of diverse talent.
- Experience using web-based job boards and other online recruiting sources; Handshake a plus
- Workday experience a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
