Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing the team to ensure the proper completion of Technical Lab Services activities across all customer sites.
Manage all activities associated with Technical Lab Services activities, including developing and implementing policies and procedures. Ensures continuous improvement of processes, systems, and communications.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Apply 80/20 principles to organize processes, support the team and serve our customers.
Control resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
Actively participate in compiling monthly and quarterly reports per the KPI/SLA requirements
Manage the customer budget for TLS across all sites.
Manage the PerkinElmer P&L budget for the TLS department globally.
Coach and train staff at client location regarding best-in-class customer support.
Ensure adequate planning and coordination of coverage to meet customer needs and achieve established operational metrics.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement within the team.
Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or 5+ years in customer service or related field
5+ years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent problem solving skills
Experience using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and others.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to prioritize conflicting deadlines.

Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer’s site safety code.
Experience working in a research laboratory environment is a must, with experience within the pharmaceutical industry as highly preferred.

Ability to operate a personal computer to enter data and generate reports, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, managers, customers, and other technical support professionals is critical to successful performance in this role
Knowledge of 5S and/or 6 sigma principles is a plus.
Working Environment:
Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlled environment requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) in the laboratory.
Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
The person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools, or controls, which will require regular bending, squatting, stretching, and reaching in order to perform in a service function.
