Overview
The Office of Communications protects, enhances and evolves Princeton University’s reputation as one of the world’s great teaching and research institutions. The office seeks a Project Management Specialist to help ensure the effective, on-time, on-budget completion of projects. Our projects span a range of campaigns and content types (design, digital, editorial, print, social, video, etc.) aimed at promoting the University’s reputation by informing and inspiring its many audiences. The Project Management Specialist will work closely with our internal team as well as campus colleagues, external partners and vendors.
This position is temporary and primarily onsite at the Princeton University campus in Princeton, New Jersey, four days a week, with one day remote.

Qualifications
Essential qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum of three years of project management experience, preferably in a marketing, public relations or communications environment
Experience developing project plans, including scope documents, project briefs, schedules and estimates for complex projects
Proficiency in coordinating and overseeing a variety of multifaceted projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds, at a variety of levels within the organization
Strong client service and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent attention to detail
Professional demeanor
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
May be required to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred qualifications:
Degree, coursework or certification in project management, or equivalent knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Proficiency with Monday.com
Familiarity with print production workflows
