This is a great opportunity for a Manager of Imaging Services to pursue! The Manager of Imaging will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The Radiology Manager will be delegated with planning, organizing, and managing 24/7 departmental operations to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services aligned with patient care standards and regulatory requirements. The manager is responsible for developing and enforcing protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, policies, and applicable laws.
A key aspect as the Manager of Imaging Services includes strategically identifying and implementing best practices, standardizing workflows, and creating action plans for continuous improvement. The manager also handles capital and operational budgets, aiming to meet financial targets through the effective use of personnel, resources, and supplies.
Qualifications in the role of Imaging Manager include a bachelor's degree in health care or business administration, or equivalent experience. This Imaging Manager must also possess Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), all required upon hire. Applicants should have a minimum of 5+ years of recent, relevant experience in the field.
