Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director of Community Investment, including preparing meeting materials, presentations, and coordinating logistics for events.
Assist with project management duties for various initiatives and funds, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
Manage financial transactions in collaboration with the finance team, which includes processing payment requests, vendor contracts, grant payments, expense reports, and maintaining the department budget.
Offer technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding grantmaking processes and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with team members across departments to facilitate seamless operations and project execution.
Contribute to the overall success of the organization by participating in special initiatives or task forces as required.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector or related field.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating respect for different backgrounds and perspectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management and project management tools (e.g., Asana) is preferred.
Ability to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Experience in event planning and coordination is highly desirable.
