The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation’s most pressing security challenges.

We have a near-term need for a Reports & Assessments Analyst to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

The Reports & Assessments Analyst will support OUSD (I&S)'s HUMINT & Sensitive Activities (H&SA) Directorate in their mission to provide oversight, governance, and integration. The candidate will apply advanced technical knowledge and provide analysis to support the development, review, revision and oversight of strategy, policy, and legislation related to DoD sensitive activities. The candidate will coordinate, convene, and facilitate meetings, working groups and senior executive councils; analyze and evaluate large data sets; develop data analytics and data visualization tools to build assessments, reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations to facilitate senior level decision-making. Identify and employ advanced analytics to enhance analysis of unstructured and structured multi-level classified data sets and support the generation of software requirements to enhance delivery of data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities according to H&SA's technical objectives. Perform knowledge management to maintain historical record files related to sensitive activities reporting and related legislation.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of experience:
- Producing reports and briefings in DoD or the IC
- Use of data analysis tools to produce reports
- Report preparation for Congressional briefings
Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Desired:

Master's Degree
Experience supporting OUSD (I&S)
