SCOPE:
The Beam Production Loader works in a team environment; loading product and material into equipment and containers, counting and packing product, and ensuring quality while meeting expected output.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated hand-eye coordination.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Must be team orientated.
- Demonstrated ability to follow basic directions and aptitude to learn.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Manufacturing experience a plus! Not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load assemblies into baskets from totes
- Stack baskets and move to production line
- Load baskets onto production line
- Unload baskets from production line
- Pack assemblies from baskets back into totes
- Assist operators and product handlers in the handling of carton product, including but not limited to: Unloading cartons from the production line and stacking them correctly on skids; Loading cartons from skids to production line. Placing cartons in correct orientation on carts.
- Maintain cycle times to meet/exceed minimum rates
- Know and follow all OSHA and Mercury Plastics safety rules
- Read and interpret Work Instructions
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Follow ISO procedures
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to periodically lift and carry to up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to twist, pull, push, and bend.
- Must be able to use fingers, palms, wrists, and forearms continuously at a fast pace
