Support A&F Co.’s Wholesale, Sell Off, Licensing, and Franchise revenue channelsSupervise a team of accounts receivable clerks with responsibility for issuing customer invoices and collecting paymentExhibit full control over thousands of invoices issued weeklyIssue invoices, apply payment, and reconcile using Oracle PeopleSoft AR/BI and GL modulesEnsure invoices are issued within 24 hours of shipped merchandiseTie out reported revenue to invoices and subsequent paymentsControl and prevent outstanding past due receivables while maintaining customer relationship and engagementAssist manager with data analysis and reportingProvide accurate dashboard reporting and financial metrics including receivables agingResearch and quickly resolve any unit and/or price discrepancies in our invoicingIntegrate yourself more fully with business operations to provide maximum supportStay in front of changing business demands, ensure Finance concerns and needs are addressed in proposed solutionAssist in maintaining and modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and controlsPartner with PeopleSoft IT team to adjust invoices to support individual customers' contract terms (discounts, payment terms, delivery, etc.)Support Treasury cash flow projections or similar requirementsCreate journal entries and reconcile general ledger receivablesLeverage technology, including automation, to drive operational efficiency and effectively manage working capitalTrack payment schedules through effective management of accounts receivable processing worldwide, coordinating with cross-functional partners to ensure that customers are paying within contracted payment termsDevelop & maintain efficient operational procedures applied consistently across the teamCultivate effective relationships with various internal teams, including Business Development, Information Technology (IT), and TreasuryProvide excellent cross-functional support and troubleshoot issuesMaintain and communicate individual and team performance standardsWhat Do You Need To Bring? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related experience 5+ years of experience in a supervisor or leadership capacity within a fast-paced setting, ideally with global/international exposureExperience with invoicing, collections, and financial management systems (e.g. PeopleSoft)Outstanding written and verbal communications skillsAbility to recruit, develop, and maintain an effective teamExperience in building strong internal and external business partner relationshipsHigh attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on operational efficiencyThrive in stressful situations and maintain calm under pressureComfort in working with large volumes of data (invoices) and an ever evolving and growing segment of the A&F businessExperience with PeopleSoft preferred, but not requiredOur Company Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
