Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing (DT) Digital Technology aspects of large projects that are diverse and sophisticated. Coordinates project planning, training, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Required to interact with vendors and contractors. Understand technical/business requirements captured from the business units. You will need strong organization & communication skills, you will have to possess excellent customer service skills. Have a solid background in project management, has a demonstrable understanding in Telecommunications Standards & practices. Candidate will ensure United"s IT Critical Infrastructure standards are followed. The role is involved in project support of LAN \"Local Area Network\" WAN \"Wide Area Network\" VOIP \"Voice Over IP\"CCTV \"Closed Circuit Television\" and Mobility platforms. The role will be the interface between Field Services and internal/external business partners.
- Support regional airports, customer service centers, contact centers and all United facilities
- Duties include Walkthroughs, (DT) Digital Technology Equipment, preventative maintenance, mobility product support, (DT) Digital Technology infrastructure support, operational equipment and communication rooms, base location inventory management and supply storage
- System maintenance/administration, diagnostics, automated imaging of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, installation and removal of PC equipment
- Manage day to day activities for enterprise level support for iOS and Android, Drives AV innovation and standardization across the region, performs CCTV Testing, diagnostics, and repairs of product for the region
- Attends regional project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis
- Supports the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor work
- Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers
- Network Engineering, WAN Engineering, WiFi Engineering, mobility Engineering
- Ensures The Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) conform to established enterprise/industry standards (BICSI) Building Industry Consulting Service International, (EIA) Electronic Industries Alliance, (TIA) Telecom Industry association, monitor, manage, and maintain (DT) Digital Technology infrastructure and end user equipment to ensure encouraged availability and performance levels are achieved

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor"s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent IT experience
- 5 years of IT experience
- Must be able to work a 24x7 schedule at IAD and travel up to 50% to other hubs for projects
- Mobility IOS/Android, Windows, LAN room and (DT) Digital technology Infrastructure experience (Copper, fiber optic)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Skills for problem solving, looking beyond the obvious and not stopping at the first answer
- Strong level of poise in high pressure environments
- Active commitment to self-development
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
