ICF's Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure Group seeks an Event Marketing Specialist to fuel our continued business growth with government agencies and private-sector companies in the energy, environment, and climate sectors. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Event Marketing Specialist will help tell our story through virtual and in-person events, including tradeshows, client events, webinars, and more. This position is Remote in the United States, with preference given to the Washington, DC – Reston, VA area.
We’re not a typical consulting firm, so we’re not looking for a typical Event Marketing Specialist. We are seeking a team player who can support the planning, development, and execution of marketing and communications activities for meeting and conference-related marketing endeavors. This includes managing exhibit booths and creating marketing materials.
Key areas of focus for this role will include:
• Developing and executing event and sponsorship plans to ensure successful execution.
• Monitoring and analyzing event and sponsorship metrics to ensure performance.
• Managing the logistics of each event and sponsorship, such as budgeting, venue selection, vendor relationships, and more.
• Strategizing and developing branding initiatives to ensure maximum brand visibility and recognition.
• Working with business leaders to set goals and understand priorities for each event, communicating key logistics and expectations to staff as needed.
• Coordinating with event staff, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure all events are successful.
• Monitoring event and sponsorship results to evaluate effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinating with marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with bigger picture marketing goals and strategy.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key sponsors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Maintaining records of event and sponsorship activities, including budgets, contracts, and debriefs.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, or marketing and communications related to event planning (as a full-time position responsibilities).
• Willing and able to travel up to 20% annually (domestically).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience with platforms such as Marketo, GotoWebinar, Zoom, WebEx, Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$52,488.00 - $89,230.00
