The Program Director has full responsibility for administrative and clinical oversight of the Family Treatment & Rehabilitation Program, which provides preventive services to families with a member dealing with mental health or substance abuse issues to increase safety, reduce risk and promote wellbeing. The Program Director works closely with program staff, ACS and senior leadership to insure all responsibilities are carried out in accordance with model fidelity and the standards of FTR, ACS and SCO Family of Services. Responsibilities Include:
Provide mission focused administrative and clinical leadership for the Family Treatment & Rehabilitation (FTR) Program.
Insure program sustains fidelity to the FTR practice model and meets all ACS and OCFS defined outcomes.
Supervise an interdisciplinary team including three Supervisors, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Specialist, FTC Facilitator and Coordinator.
Provide biweekly individual supervision to direct reports and group supervision.
Manage HR related processes including hiring, onboarding, off boarding and progressive discipline.
Insure all staff complete required training and have professional development plans as indicated by learning needs and goals.
Oversee Clinical Diagnostic Team Meetings and insure best practices in interdisciplinary collaboration.
Manage a mobile workforce and related IT needs.
Direct the development and implementation of ACS, OCFS, FTR and SCO policies and procedures; write and maintain program specific procedures & program manual.
Directly manage crises and provide coverage for client care as needed.
Manage intake process for program and maintain full utilization.
Develop and implement marketing plan for client recruitment.
Develop and utilize strategies to incorporate family voice and value of racial equity in program.
Utilize strategies to develop and maintain a trauma informed environment.
Insure Family Team Conferencing occurs and adheres to best practices.
Allocate resources and track program spending aligned with budget.
Manage fiscal reconciliations related to program spending.
Use data to set performance goals and measure outcomes.
Responsible for all model fidelity assessment and outcome evaluation activities and reports.
Responsible for insuring proper and timely utilization of PROMIS and CONNECTIONS data base systems and preparation and submission of data reports as applicable.
Insure all case record documentation is maintained and meets ACS, OCFS and agency wide case record review standards.
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators on quantitative and qualitative outcomes aligned with ACS and model expectations in collaboration with QI.
Liaise with ACS & OCFS on collaborative QI processes and audit preparation and response.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with community based organizations and public agency partners.
Participate in, and advocate organization’s priorities at ACS, COFCCA and other meetings, workgroups and coalitions.
Collaborate across SCO program areas to enhance relationships and effective practice with shared families.
Collaborate with internal departments including Human Resources, Business Operations, Finance, IT, QI and others.
Participate in the preventive leadership team to develop strategic planning and service integration.
Communicate program objectives, priorities and progress to the appropriate individuals including the Director of Preventive Services and Vice President.
Participate as a member of the SCO Administrative Council.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master Degree in Social Work or related field.
LCSW or LMHC preferred;
Bilingual Spanish a plus.
At least 3-5 years supervising or directing a child welfare program.
Previous direct service work with families.
Knowledge and experience in the areas of substance abuse and mental health preferred.
Self-initiated, motivated and well-organized.
Possess a social justice perspective and ability to collaborate with culturally and socioeconomically diverse groups.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Facility with OCFS & ACS data systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/Saturdays to manage crises, attend community events or meetings.
