Title: IT Generalist

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour*
Reports to: Senior Vice President, Information Technology

The Information Technology Generalist will participate in a range of functional areas, including Cyber Security, Networking & Infrastructure, Server Operations, and Application Development. In addition to implementing and managing technology solutions, this individual is responsible for performing administrative and technical procedures.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cyber Security: supports, develops, and maintains applications pertaining to the business needs of the organization.
- Network & Infrastructure: helps design and implement, configure, and monitor network and software, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and other hardware and virtual appliances and machines.
- Server Operations: provides knowledge in hardware support, and server administration.
- Application Development: support, develop, and maintain applications pertaining to the business needs of the organization.
- Review, implement, configure, monitor, document and support critical infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Perform maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations to ensure optimal operations.
- Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Diagnose network and internet connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to users and business units as needed.
- Follow the change management policies to ensure that routine, comprehensive and emergency changes are logged and approved.
- Audit the implementation of security configuration based on the established policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
- Develop, maintain, and improve documentation of the IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security teams, including design and operations documents.
- Contribute to the creation and testing of contingency plans including business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Provide input and participate in strategic planning sessions.
- Work with 3rd party vendors as needed.
- Collaborate with teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of services with systems and applications.
- Complete any special projects assigned in the given deadline.
- Develop reports and presentations for management as needed.
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networks, operating systems, infrastructures, protocols, and applications development.
- Strong knowledge of the following languages: python, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL, Linux CLI.
- Programming/scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work well in a fast paced and team environment.
- Possesses good work ethic and dedication to high standards.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work optimally with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Experience working at sports & entertainment venues or theme parks preferred.
- Must be available to work any shift, weekends, and holidays. Must be available for on-call support.
