At Hudson Pacific Properties, we provide best-in-class office space to the biggest names in tech and media (Netflix & Amazon), and we're seeking a Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition for our Corporate office in Los Angeles, CA. As a Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition, your role is to develop and drive long term talent strategies from hiring the best diverse talent, retention of the current workforce, and organizational planning. This key role will continue to build a diverse candidate pool for a high performing, best-in-class organization while planning to enter new marketplaces with a thoughtful and scalable approach. Reporting to and collaborating with the SVP, People & Culture, the Sr. Director will develop & drive talent acquisition, inclusion, engagement, opportunity, and employee experience initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Build the Global Talent Acquisition strategy for the company, leading the function into new countries and markets as needed.
- Manage the Talent Acquisition Team and build an ongoing strategy to attract, hire and retain staff across Hudson Pacific Properties and its affiliates.
- Lead and develop the team, increasing team productivity, improving talent acquisition close ratios, and implementing metrics and standards for the department.
- Participate in ongoing talent retention, organization development and engagement efforts across the organization.
- Research, develop, recommend, and execute creative strategies to foster the organization's diversity goals, ensure a steady pipeline of candidates and a diverse candidate pool.
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting processes – communication with hiring manager and human resources team, job description preparation/posting, sourcing, candidate submission, scheduling, relationship management, issue resolution, process/procedural expectation setting, offer letter creation, etc.
- Coach Talent Acquisition team to contact and develop relationships with professional groups and local universities to amplify the HPP brand to increase candidate attraction.
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates. Ensure all candidates are evaluated on a consistent set of qualifications through an effective hiring process.
- Develop, manage and maintain reporting methods, track and analyze recruiting metrics to monitor and improve recruiting performance.
- Understand current legislation related to recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and hiring; enforce regulations with managers; recommend new procedures and educate managers as needed.
- Draft, edit, and continuously improve job descriptions and job postings to ensure effective hiring.
- Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offer and compensation trends, and make strategic recommendations to enhance employer brand.
- Build applicant sources through management and development of applicant tracking systems, direct sourcing, pre-screening resumes, and engaging candidates by utilizing appropriate technology tools.
- Actively participate in industry networking activities to develop relationships and identify potential sourcing opportunities.
- Speak knowledgeably about the business to appropriately market opportunities to candidates.
- Interview and facilitate the hiring, placement, and appropriate usage of temporary employment resources.
- Assist with the development and management of talent assessment and interviewing policies.
- Participate in ongoing internship program; conduct orientation and other programmatic elements, monitor intern experience and contributions, and advise managers on providing a quality experience.
- Ensure hiring and recruitment practices and policies support HPP’s DEI goals.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10-12 years of recruitment experience required, 5-7 years in building and managing recruiting teams of five or more in fast growth environment.
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity regulations.
- Proven success working in full-cycle recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to direct source and market opportunities to passive candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage recruiting metrics to make data-driven decisions and formulate recruiting strategy.
- Excellent computer skills and demonstrated working knowledge of computers and software including MS Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ATS applications (Jobvite, ADP, Workday) and on-line recruiting tools.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, and the proven ability to influence others.
- Expert relationship building and partnership skills with all levels of professionals.
- Knowledge of People & Culture policies and procedures required.
- Polished professional demeanor with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop metrics and reports.
- Extremely flexible, proactive, highly organized, and ability to shift priorities, multi-task, and handle heavy workflow processing under time-sensitive deadlines.

Salary Range: $175,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually USD (subject to relevant experience).
