Overview Provide onsite technical support to customers on the operation, maintenance and repairs of industrial printing systems. This includes documenting work performed, tracking parts usage, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, training, loading software updates and performing preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals. Advanced networking and software knowledge is necessary A+ & N+ certification is a plus PLC troubleshooting experience is required Provide operator training on mechanical aspects as well as software operation Provide training to the Industrial Print team on mechanical & software operation of the KM-1 Ability to manage situations that involve multiple variables without outside assistance Expert knowledge troubleshooting pre-press and press problems Able to assist customers with workflow issues and recommend solutions Possesses the skillset to perform color correction to meet customer expectations Ability to work independently and work well with peers High degree of self-motivation to succeed and dedicated to self- improvement Detailed knowledge in reading wiring diagrams, repair manuals related to digital press equipment Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate technical data Ability to prioritize and organize without direct supervision, multi-tasking ability is a must Actively participants in learning opportunities and completes assigned curriculum in a timely manner; applies knowledge to continuously improve the customer experience Perform projects and tasks assigned by Konica Minolta management Qualifications Minimum High School diploma Work history in industrial inkjet technology or offset press repair (3 years minimum) Minimum 3-5 years of offset press or industrial inkjet experience necessary Strong working knowledge of either the KM-1 or competitors related products Proficiency in time management and organizational discipline.
