The Regional Service Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing regional end to end operations and is accountable for safety and performance. RSMs are the direct manager for Field Service Supervisors across a broad geographic area.
Successful RSMs maintain a strong team of field leaders to provide the highest level of service for Sunrun customers. They regularly monitor key performance indicators and make data driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership/Management:
Manage a team of [5-8] Direct Reports including Field Service Supervisors and Service Efficiency Specialists, and Service Technicians, ensuring adherence to Sunrun policies in regards to: Safety, Attendance, Timekeeping, Certification Requirements and Personal Conduct.
Maintain a strict and effective meeting cadence with direct reports based on established Governance structure.
Work with leaders from other departments (Customer Care, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Fleet, Safety, etc.) to resolve issues that impact Sunrun’s ability to service customers effectively.
Up to 25% travel requirement
Performance:
Responsible for meeting & exceeding KPI goals for quality, productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
Performance Manage Field Service Supervisors, Technicians and other direct reports to ensure daily tasks are completed to include: service appointment completions, timely and accurate service appointment dispositioning, materials requests (Will Call),
Maintain accurate market-level truck stock profiles and audit technician ‘truck stock’ material on a monthly basis
Supporting initiatives and completing other tasks as dictated by the Sr. Director
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Solar Industry experience
Minimum 1 year of Field Operations management experience required
Degree or Certification in Operations, Construction Management, Business and/or Lean Six Sigma is preferred
OSHA 10 Required/OSHA 30 Certification preferred
Additional qualifications
Proven ability to manage remote teams + lone workers effectively
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Goal-oriented and self-motivated
Proficiency with Salesforce, G-Suite and Tableau
Demonstrated success in leading teams

Physical Demands
Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
Ability to set up, secure and climb a 20 foot ladder onto rooftops of various angles and surfaces
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
Have adequate visual and hearing acuity to follow instructions; operate machinery and equipment; and determine accuracy of the work assigned
Ability to work for extended periods of time on surfaces of various heights and angles
Operate office equipment including computers
Travel commercially as directed or required
Work safely on construction jobsites, and warehouses

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$106,010.89 to $141,347.85
Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
