Job Abstract

Title: Staff Accountant - Financial Analytics

Location: Oceanport, NJ

Reports to: Director of Financial Analytics

This position assists the Director of Financial Analytics in managing the health systems key Financial Analytics and Forecasting tools and data,

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Be an integral part of data reliability, detailed analysis and consistency of financial data throughout the RWJBH Health System,
• Assist in training to Directors/local site staff on StrataJazz for new releases of the product, new site lead training and rollout of new reports,
• This also includes existing systems/reporting for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting,
• Analyze the financial metrics for assigned facilities, working to standardize the cost per unit,
• Prepare and distribute executive team reporting packages
• Analyze data for opportunities by site across the system, elevating findings to management,
• Assist assigned sites with the budgeting process, auditing workbooks, answering site questions, reviewing the budget once site completes, produce site reports for budget review meetings identifying were issues,
• Utilize per unit of service reports to identify opportunities across the sites
• Assist Director in the preparation of the long-range forecast for assigned sites,
• Assist in completion of a monthly current year forecast process,
• Complete special projects as assigned
• All other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1-5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and accounting, preferably with Healthcare experience,
