Job Summary/Responsibilities | Job responsibilities include delivery of management assistance through individual business consulting and presentation of group training programs to owners of pre-venture, startup and small and medium business enterprises. Responsibilities also include providing technical assistance and training on government contracting registrations, RFP review, and proposal development. Individual consulting will assist clients with information and advice on varied management topics, with particular emphasis on startup, business planning, capital access, marketing and growth, financial analysis, and organizational management. He/She will follow Florida SBDC Network policies and procedures and adhere to FSBDC Conflict of Interest policy. Presentation of group training programs will involve presenting workshops on a variety of management topics. Coordinator will make public presentations to promote SBDC and PTAC services in the Region and to educate clients, partners and stakeholders on SBDC impact. He/She will be responsible for community outreach, including service on appropriate boards and committees, and involvement in area business organizations. He/She will be responsible for meeting or exceeding annual performance goals. Travel is required to perform county-wide job functions. |
