Holy Trinity School is accepting resumes for a school Secretary. The position requires a friendly and courteous person with excellent communication and organizational skills. The Secretary is responsible for managing the front desk and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the school office. This position seeks a highly motivated, well organized individual to support the administrative functions of the school as secretary. In this role, the secretary is a key individual that interacts with all key members of the Holy Trinity School Community, faculty, staff, parents, students, and others. The primary responsibilities will be working directly for the principal in managing the daily operations of the school through managing phone calls, filing, photocopying, maintenance of teacher and student records and assisting parents and new families. The secretary will play an important role in the annual registration process. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Applicants are required to be a practicing Catholic.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
– A high school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in office administration, is a plus.
– Previous experience in a receptionist or secretary role
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Doc, Slides, Sheets) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., scanners, printers)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to multitask and handle a busy front office environment
– Provide other administrative support as required
– Professional appearance and demeanor

– Greet and assist visitors courteously and professionally
– Answer phone, take messages, and direct calls to principal, faculty, and staff
– Handle inquiries efficiently
– Handle copying, filing, and other paperwork for the principal and faculty

– Coordinate and schedule meetings
– Support administrative staff with various clerical tasks, including data entry and filing
– Assist in preparation of parish events and activities
– Distribution of Keys for check out
– Maintain confidentiality of records and information
Hours: 7:15 – 3:45 pm – Monday through Friday

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
