That’s why our team is looking to add a Manager of Workplace Site Operations at Capital One’s headquarters location at our Tysons Campus.
As a Manager of Site Operations, you’ll manage the day-to-day relationships with our internal customers and lines of business. You’ll also engage with external providers responsible for facilities, space planning, moves, food and beverage services and mail services. And you will also help drive the execution of security strategies that will improve operational effectiveness and ensure the safety of Capital One employees and customers within the community.
The Ideal Candidate Should:

Have a strong and proven record leading dynamic teams where they are as comfortable leading a team as they are working cross-functionally across multiple teams to achieve a common goal.
Posses written and oral communication, presentation, influencing and storytelling skills.
Leverage different approaches and build on the ideas and perspectives of others
Have a passion for real estate and/or security and how it influences culture and the environment
Have familiarity with real estate related physical security issues
Have hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modeling, and performing security reviews
Possess the skill to not only prioritize multiple tasks concurrently but do so with a high degree of skill and efficiency.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment that involves both working independently and collaborating with others
Key Responsibilities:
Lead third-party providers responsible for facilities, space planning, moves, food and beverage services, hospitality, conferencing and print/mail services
Partner with your internal clients to understand their intent and goals, develop plans that meet their needs and relentlessly pursue options to deliver high-performing results
Engage with cross-functional teams at all levels and serve as a trusted real estate expert
Identify, recommend/document and implement ways to drive optimal utilization of the facilities
Contribute to the development of the annual capital and operating-expense budgets
Partner with other internal real estate associates to create solutions and proactively solve problems
Perform assessments that ensure Capital One LOBs and corporate facilities are compliant with corporate standards, industry requirements, governmental regulations pertaining to security and ensuring the safety and security of employees.
Assist in managing safety and security issues stemming from incident reports
Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Legal, HR, and IT
Foster a positive work environment through engagement and team building activities
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Facilities Management or Relationship Management
At least 3 years of experience managing facilities for multiple locations
Experience with physical security issues and incident management
Preferred qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, People Management or Supplier Management
At least 2 years of experience with G Suite tools
