RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overseeing the processing of all cash disbursements.
• Responsible for analyzing and reconciling accounts payable transactions as well as verifying the accuracy of those transactions.
• Responsible for day-to-day management of Accounts Payable staff.
• Responsible for implement process improvements to ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations and accounting principles.
• Responsible for education and training stakeholders to ensure Accounts Payable process adheres to internal policies and external regulations.
• Responsible for ad-hoc reporting, support detail, analysis of accounts, account reconciliations and audit schedules as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Approximately 7+ years of relevant accounting / finance experience
• Experience in government contracting environment
• Thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles, as well as familiarity with DCAA, FAR, JTR, DFARS and other applicable regulations
• High proficiency in MS Excel

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum seven (7) years of experience in directing the work of an accounts payable team, have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and government contracting, have extensive experience in planning and timely execution of all accounts payable functions. Be able to provide ad-hoc support and analyses, as well as ensuring adherence to policies, applicable law and regulations, procedures, and internal controls. The role reports directly to the Controller.
