Company Overview:
This is a temp-to-hire position with a full-time schedule, offering an exciting opportunity to work on projects across the US West Coast, including locations in Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight:
- Oversee and coordinate project requests from customers, covering up to 160 stores across the US West Coast. Projects may include handyman services, electrical work, and data installations.
- Technician Coordination:
- Designate and schedule technicians to complete project scopes, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary information and materials.
- Quote and Change Order Tracking:
- Monitor and manage submitted quotes and change orders, facilitating customer approval.
- Material Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of materials needed for project installations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Project Tracking and Reporting:
- Track project completions and report progress back to customers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Floorplan Updates and Scope Creation:
- Update and format customer floorplans and create detailed scopes of work for technicians to follow, ensuring clarity and precision in project execution.
- Documentation Creation:
- Develop and maintain overviews, trackers, and reference sheets for both technicians and office staff as required for each project.
- Liaison Duties:
- Act as a liaison between technicians and customers to address and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
- Multiple Project Management:
- Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting to the demands and priorities of customers.
- Vendor Searches:
- Conduct searches for potential new vendors and build relationships with technicians to support ongoing and future projects throughout the western region.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Project Coordination Experience:
- Proven experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably within facility maintenance or a similar industry.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with handyman, electrical, and data work, and the ability to understand project scopes and requirements.
- Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technicians and customers.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail:
- High attention to detail in tracking project progress, updating documentation, and ensuring project requirements are met.
- Vendor Relationship Management:
- Experience in conducting vendor searches and building relationships with technicians and service providers.
