Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst role is responsible for supporting the sales team across multiple functions. The candidate must be proficient in data analytics, report building, order entry and maintenance, bulk management, inventory management, and other functional support. The Sales Operations Analyst will need to not only develop relationships with their sales partners, but across all functions including Production, Planning, Product, and Marketing. The Sales Operations Analyst should be proficient in Excel, NuOrder (B2B), and Exenta. A key factor for success is to be able to analyze and present data and be solution orientated.
Essential Functions (including but not limited to)
- Responsible for Order & Bulk Management:
- Support Sales and aid in the creation of orders (post-market, at once, ATS).
- Responsible for Bulk maintenance (cancels/moves) and communication to Sales/Account Support as needed.
- Create and maintain a shipping tracker by month to ensure order file integrity. This should include tracking of bulks and orders for future and past invoicing.
- Ongoing collaboration with Account Support to ensure orders are aligned to inventory and ready-to-ship dates.
- Weekly reporting/analysis – run, pivot, and distribute relevant reporting to Sales (inclusive of 1099’s).
- Exenta reporting to socialize/create awareness on order status and reach to budget/forecast.
- Run inventory reports
- Run gross margin analysis/scenarios as needed
- KPI, NSR, Comparative Business Review, Open Orders, Invoicing
- Weekly selling reports (collaborate with Planning)
- Analyze and make callouts to Sales in order to address any exceptions
- Maintain a working knowledge and ownership of customer-specific requirements for ticketing routing and other account needs.
- Continually keep an open line of communication of the status of the order with the retail partners
- Partner with Demand Planning on replenishment forecasts and orders as well as provide receipt tracker visibility for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Attend internal meetings with other departments such as Production, Planning and Merchandising to support the order and product assortments.
- Ad hoc reporting and tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business sales, buying, or other related field and 2-4 years professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent understanding to perform Retail Math calculations. Ability to build scenarios for offering discounts and managing to our internal margin requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow up.
- Strong business judgement and sense of urgency and can work independently under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions that show understanding and insight with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner and adaptable to change and have the ability to prioritize projects and workload.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
- Willingness to attend professional work dinners and events when presented.
