Job Description:
The Senior Mobile Workforce Business Analyst will provide technical support to California Water’s Mobile Work Order Management System, KloudGin, including aligning user requirements between IT and the operating departments, understanding and documenting stakeholders' needs, analyzing technical and business impacts of proposed changes, conducting day-to-day maintenance and administration, create and manage reports, configure the system to defined business requirements, implement system upgrades, patches, enhancements and fixes, perform user training, manage security, roles, and permissions and troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Meets with the governing body of stakeholders to obtain sponsorship and arranges funding for changes to existing functionality and new features
Holds the title of KloudGin Product Owner and creates user stories based on functional business requirements and technical specifications
Facilitates discussions between end-users, vendors, and the IT department
Serves as the primary contact for end-user support
Administers all system user accounts
Performs system tests, identifies bugs, and tracks the bugs in the product backlog
Coordinates integration tests between users and vendors of systems that integrate with the Mobile Work Order Management system
Provides data for reporting
Configures system and develops reports to meet specified business requirements
Facilitates user group meetings, feedback sessions, software demonstrations, and training
Manages multiple tasks with competing deadlines to ensure minimal impact to functional users
Coordinates upgrades, enhancements, or fixes to existing or new systems as requested
Complies with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and requirements
Participates in and supports the Company’s Continuous Improvement program and projects
Performs other similar duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and IT business practices
Experience working in a Scrum environment
Experience with a mobile work order platform or closely related dispatch and/or field operations product
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and in writing, with agencies, contractors, consultants, customers, employees, and vendors
Flexible and able to prioritize work
Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create presentations, spreadsheets, and Word documents
Ability to prepare reports and provide progress updates as needed
Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding end-user service
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Extensive experience with Atlassian Jira
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with Agile project management software like Atlassian Jira Software
Experience with Product Management software like Atlassian Jira Product Discovery
Knowledge of SOX controls
Experience writing Scrum user stories
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience creating process flow diagrams
Experience writing user acceptance tests
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree, related water utility field and/or equivalent relevant experience
Background in software support or utility and field operations with direct end-user contact
Valid California Driver License
Salary Range: $96,500 - $179,200
