We are looking for a Recruiter. This is a contract to hire opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Remote).
This position is a member of the recruiting team specializing in the recruiting and selection of hourly employees focusing on new store openings and existing restaurants as needed. This person will be responsible for client’s hourly employee recruiting strategy, recruiting initiatives, hourly recruiting and selection education and training programs for all restaurant managers, and hourly recruiting and selection processes for new restaurant openings. This person will work in partnership with the recruiting team, Regional Partners, and Restaurant Managers supporting them in their understaffed and tough-to-hire markets. They will be an ambassador for the brand in the field working alongside the operators needing coaching and training in recruiting and selection skills. This position will require heavy travel (depending on new store opening assignments) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resource emphasis preferred)
- Strong background in recruiting and selection (in the food service industry preferred) with general HR knowledge.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office; Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
- Ability to understand policies and procedures and can implement and enforce the same.
- Experience building and developing recruiting and selection processes.
- Possesses knowledge of has experience with behavioral-based interviewing.

Responsibilities:
- Supports all NSO (new store opening) hourly recruiting and selection efforts in partnership with each Regional Partner, Opening Team Manager, and Restaurant Manager.
- Creates company hourly recruiting and selection strategy to help achieve the company’s hiring goals and lowering turnover.
- Conducts education and training on hourly recruiting and selection for restaurant management.
- Maintains recruiting, selection, education goals, and timelines by company growth and financial plans.
- Research and stay up to date with industry recruiting and turnover trends.
- Maintains positive working relationships with the recruitment team and other potential vendors.
- Maintains and provides weekly updates on regional interviewing and recruiting efforts, hires, and needs.
- Creates and develops hourly recruiting metrics to report on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Communicates company needs by restaurant, region, and NSO to supervisor regularly.
- Attends job fairs and other miscellaneous recruiting events and conducts open houses when needed.
- Updates and reviews data daily in applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Utilizes and maintains applicant tracking system and onboarding process.
- Attends and represents the Recruitment Team during NSO Conference Calls when necessary.
- Assists with and designs any updates of recruiting materials, content, and ads.
- Travels to new restaurant opening hire sites, tough-to-hire markets, and manager meetings when necessary. Travel required 35%-45%
- Attends recruiting seminars and networking opportunities to always stay ahead of the trends.
- Participates in and presents hourly recruiting and hiring informational sessions during restaurant management meetings.
- Updates hourly recruiting content on the company intranet consistently along with providing necessary content in company weekly newsletter submissions.
Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $65,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
