- Knowledge of AS/400 system administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AS400 High Availability setup MIMIX, iTerra, etc.
- Knowledge of AS400 networked systems, access and security guidelines and procedures.
- Knowledge of network hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Solves technically challenging problems involving AS400 based critical application and hardware issues.
- Skill in prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other MCRS team members.

- Skill in Windows Active Directory.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field; AND five (5) years of computer systems experience with AS/400, Windows, and Cisco Networking equipment in a demand-based service oriented environment/ OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, working knowledge of casino applications (Konami Synkros), hotel applications (Agilysys LMS), point-of-sale applications (Agilysys Infogenesis), inventory management applications (Agilysys SWS), and/or financial applications (Infor Infinium) a plus.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manuals written in English.Must be able to write grammatically correct reports and correspondence. Must have the ability to communicate interpersonally and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, team members, guests and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Calculate figures and amounts such as ratios and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Troubleshooting ability consists of defining problems, collecting data, testing potential solutions, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work involves frequent sitting, standing, walking and crouching or kneeling, reaching with arms and using the hands to manipulate, feel and enter data by frequent and sustained use of keyboard and mouse. Site work involves limited manual labor, typically involving the setup of desktop PCs, running data cables, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to speak and hear. Vision abilities required by this job typically include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The casino has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment.
WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
