Job Abstract

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing regular coaching and feedback to team members;
• Performing call monitors and account audits;
• Serving as the call escalation contact for team members;
• Working with other members of the department regarding patient billing and insurance matters;
• Researching and effectively answering billing questions received from patients;
• Filing insurance claims on behalf of the patient
• Ensuring friendly and efficient interactions between patients or clients and team members.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• High school graduate or equivalent;
• Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
• One year of clerical experience preferred;
• Understanding of various health insurances preferred;
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner;
• Courteous and professional in all interactions with patients and co-workers;
• Excellent organizational skills a plus;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Basic computer skills preferred.
