We are seeking a Director, HR Operations and HRIS to guide our human resources information systems (HRIS) and optimize our HR operational strategies. This pivotal role supports our dynamic team and is central to our strategic objectives. The Director, HR Operations is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of our HR systems and operational procedures. This leader enhances our HR infrastructure through advanced technology solutions, streamlines HR processes, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
What You’ll Do:
- HRIS Management: Oversee the administration, enhancement, and strategic use of HRIS systems to improve HR operations, data management, and employee engagement.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline HR operational processes such employee onboarding, performance management, and compliance programs.
- Project Management: Lead HR data and technology projects, ensuring alignment from conceptualization to post-implementation, with effective change management strategies.
- Collaboration and Influence: Engage with Executive Leadership, IT, and Legal to refine and innovate processes that support a world-class HR technology platform.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage vendor relations, contract negotiations, and ensure service delivery meets company standards. Act as a primary liaison for HR technology providers and internal stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the team to meet evolving business needs and personal development goals.
- System Optimization and Automation: Develop and implement strategies to optimize HRIS systems to meet workforce requirements, enhance data accuracy, and reduce manual processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR Operations or HRIS,
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), MS Office, SQL, Tableau, and familiarity with programming (
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal skills to influence at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in analyzing complex data, developing metrics, and translating insights into strategic actions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of employment laws, benefits, and payroll regulations.

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $150,000-$210,000
