Job Summary
Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH seeks EBI Database Developers II – Safety, Quality and Patient Experience to develop, maintain, and enhance MS SQL and Teradata databases and applications for internal purposes and customer reporting.
Job Details
Duties include: performing data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementing schemas; interpreting and writing complex code; monitoring systems for performance and capacity; designing, implementing, and supporting ETL processes and batch scripts; developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports; establishing database development standards, documentation and best practices; and providing on-call duty as required to support department 7x24x365 applications. Other duties as assigned. This is a hybrid position, with some telecommuting permitted.
At a minimum, this position requires:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation and three (3) years of experience in database development (MS SQL or Teradata). Experience must include building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and the physical and logical design of database architecture.
Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation to offset two (2) years of the stated experience requirement.
