Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain ML feature pipelines
Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
Run machine learning tests and experiments
Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
Train and retrain ML systems when necessary
Keep abreast of developments in the field
Qualifications
BS in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
4+ years of experience as an ML Engineer or 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with 2+ year of experience with ML
Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Experience writing robust code in Python
Strong experience with SQL, PostgreSQL or Snowflake preferred
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Keras or PyTorch and libraries such as scikit-learn.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Preferred Experience
MS in computer science preferably with AI specialization or mathematics
Experience developing ML feature pipelines based on data from production data stores
Experience working with non-engineering teams to understand requirements and how they can be quantified as ML model tests.
