Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Director of Educational Support Services administers special education and pupil support services and performs other job related duties as required.
The Director of Educational Support Services is responsible for providing effective leadership in all areas of special education and student services. This position is a Senior Cabinet level position and is integrally involved with both setting and carrying out the strategic vision for Cabrillo Unified School District. The Director of Educational Support Services reports directly to the Superintendent or designee.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Valid CA Administrative Services credential
* Valid CA Multi-subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential
* Valid California driver’s license
Any combination equivalent to: advanced degree (Doctorate preferred); three years of teaching experience; three years of increasingly responsible supervisory and management experience; demonstrates expertise in the areas of special education curriculum, instruction, and assessment; demonstrates experience in student services; demonstrates fiscal responsibility

District offers coverage for health, vision and dental plans for 185-day, prorated to FTE. District contribution for health benefits shall be equal to Kaiser medical contribution with a maximum cap of $11,167.00.
