Job Abstract

Our client is one of the largest IT and consulting firms in the world, providing enterprise solution management and integration services to the Federal Government. They have an immediate need for a Java Developer to work REMOTE on a project based in Washington, DC. In this role, you will work with other Developers and software architecture teams to build and enhance new or current applications. Our Federal Government Contract requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders and be able to pass the client’s background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Java and JEE internals (ClassLoading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.).
• Expertise with Relational Databases, SQL and SQL Mapper Framework (MyBatis).
• Experience and knowledge with the following:
  • Java version and third-party library upgrades.
  • Spring Framework.
  • Quartz scheduler and Cron jobs
  • Code repository, preferably Azure Repos (Git Repository).
  • Building and deploying Java projects (Using Ant, Maven).
  • Maven configuration and dependency management
  • Deploying projects in WebLogic servers.
  • Linux/Unix operating systems (able to navigate through directories, open, read and edit files, move files from directories to directories, and executing shell scripts on the server, etc.).
