DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Sutter Delta Medical Center, Department: WHCC, • At least six months experience in Labor & Delivery or be enrolled in training/transition program. • Experience in Maternal / Child acute care setting • Experience in Antepartum care • Experience in Intrapartum care (Labor and Delivery) • Experience in the recovery of the vaginal and cesarean delivery • Experience in circulating cesarean sections • Experience in the recovery of the patient with Regional anesthesia • Experience in breastfeeding education and support • Experience in the care of the Newborn and Postpartum patient
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must demonstrate the following: • basic Medical / Surgical nursing skills, • basic competencies in the nursing process and pharmacology, • basic knowledge of adolescent, • adult and geriatric population, • ability to work with all levels of nursing personnel and assist them in a resource capacity, • effective English written and verbal communication skills. Must learn operations of relevant equipment in unit

Pay Range is $73.66 to $99.67 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
