Job Summary
The San Diego Unified School District accepts applications for Elementary Dual Language Teachers on a continuous basis for regular full-time and part-time assignments. This is a continuous recruitment which will be used to establish an ongoing eligibility list and passing screened applicants will be offered the opprtunity to substitute as well. Candidates who wish to teach French, Mandarin or Spanish should apply to this pool. San Diego Unified is looking for dual language teachers in an elementary dual language immersion setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants:
MUST hold a valid multiple subject teaching credentials with a BCLAD (bilingual authorization) in Spanish, French, Madarin,
or are enrolled in a college/university to attain a teaching credential,
or are intern eligible through their college or university,
or are eligible for a short-term staffing permit (see CCTC requirements).
Applicants must have a valid California drivers license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
