Under general direction of the ASES District Coordinator, operate a variety of data processing machines and related equipment to process ASES Expanded Learning and ELOP Data, via AERIES, Google apps and all eleven (11) after school and department computer based runs and reports; provide technical assistance to all TK-8 school site principals, ASES District Coordinator and staff regarding data entry work request.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a variety of data processing machines and related equipment such as printers, and scanners to process District, school and department computer runs and reports; operate a computer and assigned software applications including the student information software system.
Receive data from departments and school sites; verify accuracy and completeness of data; input and code incoming data including, but not limited to ASES / ELOP student attendance, grade level specified reports for tutoring,annual data outcomes information, afters school class rosters and attendance into assigned computerized system; prepare and produce master schedule and after school schedules.
Process, assemble and distribute a variety of school, District and ASES/ ELOP departmental reports such as, but not limited to after school attendance rosters, testing information, grades and student progress reports; scan data; prepare printouts.
Process data processing requests for a variety of information needed by schools, administrators and outside agencies; assist in establishing reporting time lines; run various reports as requested by school sites and administrators using appropriate queries.
Review computer produced reports and documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with established guidelines; correct errors as necessary.
Operate a variety of office equipment including a calculator, copier and fax machine.
Provide support and assistance to a variety of staff members in student information and data entry.
Communicate with other departments, administrators, governmental agencies and outside organizations to collect and provide data, exchange information, coordinate activities and resolve issues or concerns.
Compose, type, and proofread correspondence such as letters, memos, and data gathering forms to request, disseminate, or verify information; answer telephones and take and relay messages; establish and maintain a variety of records and files; provide support to assigned work site in the completion of general related data clerical work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of clerical experience, including experience involving computerized data entry and maintaining computerized records.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Methods and practices of operating an electronic data processing computer and peripheral equipment.
Data control procedures and data entry operations.
Operation of assigned software applications including the student information software system.
Record-keeping techniques.
Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.
