Channel Manager – Consumer Sales

What we’re seeking:
This role reports to the regional consumer sales team and is responsible for improving the penetration of our fiberoptic broadband service within the assigned residential territory. We need a proven leader to own the performance and drive results spanning multiple channels including Door-to-door (D2D), residential agents, multifamily, and more. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 310 Orange St, New Haven, CT to complete your work responsibilities. (Call out hub)
What we need in you:
You are a driven sales leader with a knack for building high-performing teams. You take ownership of your team’s success. You have several years of experience in frontline sales and can pivot quickly between hands-on sales coaching and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. You are just as comfortable in the field talking to customers as you are in the boardroom reporting on Year-over-year (YoY) results. Speaking of results, yours are always second to none. You do everything with excellence and expect the same from your team. A creative thinker who takes responsibility for meeting your numbers even when that means thinking outside the box and trying new approaches.
What you’ll do:
- Recruit and lead a team of internal and contract sales professionals (D2D, multifamily, and community engagement); tracking and improving results each month through motivation, headcount growth, and vendor engagement
- Assign territory to sales professionals while managing KPIs and sales activity within the assigned territory
- Drive residential fiber customer penetration, while reducing churn and improving customer lifetime value
- Develop fresh insights and techniques to reach more households with fiberoptic internet
- Travel up to 50% as necessary
- Beat our competition and delight our customers every day

- Salary Range: $70,000 to $155,000
- 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year

What background you should have:
- Unwavering integrity, unrelenting drive, and continuous improvement
- 1+ years of experience in residential telecommunications (cable, telecommunications, or fiber) sales experience with demonstrated success
- Ability to lead top-performing sales teams and ability to manage performance
- Deep understanding and ability to comprehend and produce accurate sales trends, and forecasts, and uncover opportunities within the KPIs
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and content creation/communication skills
- Exhibits sound business judgment, and emotional intelligence, and has a proven ability to influence others
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced organization
- Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience preferred
