As a High School Research Intern, you will participate in a structured learning experience in Dr. Stanley Hazen’s lab. The Stanley Hazen lab studies how inflammation contributes to cardiovascular diseases and the microbiome's role in heart health. In addition to the personal and/or academic outcomes noted by the school’s program, at the conclusion of the research experience at Cleveland Clinic, Research Interns gain experience and are able to perform a variety of clinical and/or laboratory tasks while assisting on research projects.
