Responsibilities: | Events are Lang’s co-curricular playground. Events are a compliment to the classroom experience, a sandbox of opportunity for students to explore topics of interest. It’s a co-curricular space to expand learning and further connect with fellow students, scholars, and a curated lineup of local, national and international doers and thinkers.

The Dean’s Office at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts seeks student assistants to be in-person and virtual event support. Working some evenings is required as a portion of Lang Events take place in the evening.
Tasks will include:
• In-person day-of event support • Checking in attendees using Splash event registration tool • Taking a head count of total attendees • Capturing shareable content (photos/short-video clips) • Putting up event promotional posters around campus • Admitting attendees into virtual Zoom event • Managing the Zoom chat during the event • Make sure that the event is being recorded in Zoom • Share holding slide / and other content in Zoom event • Play music in Zoom event while attendees enter • Other related event-related tasks (as needed)
