Job Abstract

This is a hybrid role, working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio. As such, we are looking for a candidate who currently resides in Northeast Ohio.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst works with the business community and other IT professionals to help identify how technology and process solutions can be used to help solve business challenges.

This person tends to have a broad understanding of subject areas throughout the business, maintains a strong relationship with all levels of the business community and strives to be seen as a subject matter expert in the eye of their business partners. Business Analysts have a strong hand in the viability and delivery of solutions by completing tasks such as gathering requirements, estimating work effort, documenting process flows, identifying data needs, developing test plans, executing system tests and helping the business with related OCM activities.

Finally, the business analyst may be asked to assist with the identification of root causes and resolutions to problems encounter in our production systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Shadows a Business Analyst who works with the business to re-evaluate and change existing business processes to improve efficiency
? Builds knowledge about IT technologies and capabilities in order to address business challenges with technology
? Brings a proactive approach to working with the business
? Works with the business to identify data needs
? Works with the business to quickly estimate the level of effort to provide a viable solution in order to obtain the business benefit
? Consistently demonstrates the ability to work with the business community to identify business requirements
? Produces high quality project deliverables such as business requirements, functional requirements, and training documentation
? Participates and aids in planning of test cycles by producing detailed test plans, test strategies, test scripts, test conditions
? Executes System Test, UAT, integration scripts and documents results when needed
? Actively participates on a mix of small to medium sized projects concurrently alongside other Analysts
? Effectively works on project teams consisting of business, IT, contractor and offshore resources
? Displays the ability to work effectively on various project methodologies
? Seeks feedback from business stakeholders to improve performance Required Length & Type of Experience:
? 0-2 years of experience as an IT business analyst or internship doing analyst like work
? Fundamental understanding of custom development and package implementation lifecycles

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Knowledge of Business Analyst tools including Visio, Excel and Word
