Help create the future of video shopping with Amazon! We are looking to hire a customer-obsessed, data driven Site Merchandiser. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our video merchandising strategy and top content selection. You will work across internal teams including marketing, content production, UX design, and product to define our content strategy and determine the best ways to surface content to customers. You will execute top content decisions, pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day editorial decisions.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, have a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges, and be able to effectively communicate. They must be able to work at the strategic level (using consumer insights to generate bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems).

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute merchandising strategies
* Own campaigns from end-to-end: managing creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization
* Own reporting of key traffic and performance metrics to broader organization including presenting results and learnings in weekly and monthly business reviews to key internal stakeholders a
* Act as a subject matter expert for merchandising tools and widgets
* Improve processes and tooling to scale
A day in the life
As a site merchandiser, you will start your day by selecting top content and updating manually curated playlists to deliver fresh content across Amazon and on the Amazon Shopping Video Homepage. You will work with the production and marketing team to determine upcoming activations for the page and request assets from the graphics team. You will analyze data to understand what curated playlists, banners and widgets are driving the most engagement with our customers. You will then take those findings and incorporate them into the strategy you are driving for the page. You will look for ways to simplify processes and tooling.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
- Experience with experimentation and analyzing results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
